Preppy Pick - Mast Brothers Chocolate

Mast Brothers Chocolate is a boutique chocolatier from New York City. They make absolutely delicious chocolates in flavors like dark chocolate with cocoa nibs and my personal favorite, dark chocolate with olive oil and sea salt.

I gave these bars out as stocking stuffers this holiday season and they got rave reviews.

I love their elegant, pretty packaging. Their wrappers look like the paper you'd find in a fine Italian stationery shop.

Scrumptious tasting and swell looking -- I'm sold.

This is our first year having a tree at home and we just love it. It took me an extra long time to decorate it because my left arm is still on the fritz, but it was so worth it. Yay for pretty Christmas trees!

Monty Monday - Snuggie for Dogs

This weekend we got about a foot of snow in New Canaan. Monty was unimpressed with the winter wonderland outside. He decided to stay inside to try out one of his new Christmas gifts, the Snuggie for dogs.

Apparently it's very, very cuddly:

Our friend Jade gave Monty the Snuggie last week, and he's enjoyed wearing it around the house since then.

It almost makes me want to get a matching one.
